Prime Minister orders plan to balance trade with major partners

Pham stressed the need to effectively take advantage of the free trade agreements to which Viet Nam is a signatory while promoting negotiations and signing of new free trade pacts and investment protection agreements to diversify market and supply chain.
He also requested the review of tax policies for possible amendment if neccessary and foster international cooperation in all areas, especially high technology, innovation, digital transformation and other emerging fronts.
The Prime Minister tasked ministries, agencies and localities to create favorable conditions for foreign investors to expand supply chain in Viet Nam and help the Southeast Asian country to further engage in the supply chain of foreign enterprises.
All economic, trade and investment activities must be open and transparent, stressed Pham, adding that competent authorities must peed up inspection and control of imported goods./.
